Background:

There are many different kinds of glass with intriguing patterns: stemware and other kinds of drinking glasses or goblets; shower doors; stained glass windows; etched glass etc etc. Let your imagination run wild! Old weathered window frames, possibly with broken glass, provides a wonderful framework for images. By all means use layers in Photoshop to create interesting abstract effects (or double exposures in film cameras). Photoshop glass filters are not much fun and are a giveaway because of the regular pattern of their effects.
