One of our newest members, Diane Spence, hails from beautiful Vancouver Island.  After visiting the desert for about 5 years, each time growing more enamored with the Coachella Valley, she and her husband decided they should spend their winters here. 

Diane is a fledgling photographer, having bought her first serious camera only two years ago.  She is now the proud possessor of a Pentex 20D with both wide angle and macro lenses. Though she enjoys her new camera, her small Pentex is still her constant companion.  Since Diane is an avid gardener, the garden vegetables and flowers have served as her first subjects.  She is currently taking lessons with the Mac Users Group to learn how to utilize her computer to best advantage. 

Having been a camera club member on Vancouver Island, Diane was interested in joining another club in the Valley.  She found us through our website.

Besides gardening, Diane enjoys golf.  In her “former life” she was a dialysis nurse.  She lives in Indio with her husband,
