PID Division (Color Class):
Definitions Used and Judging Criteria
Section 1 (Color General):
Color images are judged both for their technical and pictorial merit. The image should be properly exposed, be appropriately in focus, and have appropriate depth of field. The image should have strong composition, pleasing quality, and color impact. The content is unrestricted - subject to the General Conditions that apply to all images.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Monochrome images that are eligible for entry into the PID Monochrome Division may NOT be entered into this PID Color Division.
Section 2 (Flowers): Any image eligible for entry into Section 1 DOMINATED by a FLOWER or by a group of FLOWERS. The flower or flowers should be the most obvious feature in the image. Synthetic flowers are not allowed.
